Central Colorado Cattlemen’s Association will have a food booth both weekends of the Park County Fair again. This year they will open at 7:00 A.M. with hot coffee, breakfast burritos and pastries. The lunch menu will feature the popular Barbecue Beef Brisket Sandwiches and Navajo Tacos. They will also serve nachos, hot dogs, fry bread, snacks and other treats, as well as ice cold sodas. Look for their booth on the west side of the Livestock Barn.
All proceeds will go to the CCCA Scholarship/ Education Fund. A scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating high school senior who will be studying an agriculture related fields in college. Because of the successes of the fundraiser last year, the association was able to award Pete Ambrose a scholarship.
In honor of the CCCA, July 17, 2010 will be designated as “Cattlemen’s Day”. Please join us in honoring this association and the Cattlemen's Events.
